Cubag's Booster Garden Mix is a premium, weed-free garden soil formulated and manufactured in-house - a blend of aged composted bark fines, lime, slow release fertilisers, compost and pumice, designed to give plants an optimum start in NZ growing conditions.

How to use
Apply directly on top of existing garden beds as a top-dressing, or use at depth by digging into existing soil. Spread to a depth of 100mm-500mm, plant, and water generously and frequently.For best results, apply a 100mm covering of mulch after planting - particularly important in hot, dry conditions. A stone or pebble mulch over weedmat also works well. When filling raised planter boxes, add a layer of drainage metal or scoria to the base first to assist drainage.
Annual reapplication of slow release fertilisers is recommended, along with occasional introduction of organic matter via compost or liquid alternatives.

This 40L bag is ideal for top-ups, single planters and smaller garden beds. For larger projects - filling raised beds, new garden areas or multiple planters - Booster Garden Mix is also available as a 1m3 bulk bag. One bulk bag covers approximately 6-8m2 at 150mm depth.
